Good Morning,'

I hope no one had problems driving to work today. We got rain, but no ice. 

Yesterday I got a few chores done, such as cleaning out the refrigerator, and cleaning up the guest room. We then went and got the last present Hubert needed to get. 

Today, start cleaning, and go get groceries and  other small running around. We may go to dinner tonight, not sure.The Kof C has crab cakes for thier special tonight.

Hi folks,

we have total ice and everything is closed. Even the busses aren't running. I don't think we could get out of our street even if we wanted to! Kay went to the grocery store last night early and had a heck of a time getting home. The store is a half mile away! Sounds like a day for Christmas music and naps! Be safe friends!

 I have some computer work to do today. I already cleaned up the kitchen. I have to clean the computer/ knitting room but I'm also going to enjoy hanging out.

Hello everyone

I am at work.  I was almost hoping they would send us home early...but they won't.  The roads here are wet not icy.  I did get out my trusty spikeys.  I just leave them on an old pair of gym shoes now.  That way I have them ready to just slip on when the need arises. 

Last night was another evening of wrapping.  It was mostly large size gifts for Chris's kids.  They just came in by UPS last night.  So I wrapped them so when Chris brings them home they will be ready for the tree.  I still have a few of my gifts to wrap.   

Today after work I have to go to Walgreens, Jewel, a gas station for lottery tickets...and then Chipotle...and home for the night.  I will finish up my wrapping and then relax the rest of the evening.

We were planning on finishing shopping today but instead, we are iced in.  After falling twice last night, I am sore in lots of places.  Liv is wrapping gifts and I am finishing up bottling the flavored oils that I am giving for neighbor gifts.  I really feel that a nap would be more fun, but not very productive.  We shall see.

I have Italian beef in my new programmable crock pot for dinner.  I don't know if I will be able to chew it but if not, the family will enjoy it.  The jaw is healing but still a bit sore.

HI Friends,

It was another busy day. We are getting all new computers so they were installed today. While my computer was being installed I ran to the shop and had my hair colored. Ran back to work and was out by 3p.

We had no ice just rain. I came home to a door full of packages from Amazon that were all soaked. No ice thankfully. I decided to replace a rug in the bathroom and replace a few household items and that was what was soaked on the porch. G is out in Orland shopping tonight. He has my sympathy. But he loves waiting until the last minute as he faces the masses. I am tired. This holiday is too much work.  

I did my weekly farm pick up to get my raw dairy and also picked up my ham that is finally ready. I've never had a farm ham, I cant wait! I am doing a southern style menu this year with ham, sweet potatoes, collards, mac and cheese, black eyed peas, cole slaw and baked beans. I can do most ahead of time so the stress level will be at a minimum.

Praying for my dears ones up north, please be safe.

Lisa you sound like you are ready for this holiday. I am jealous but happy for you. Regards to your lookalike daughter.

Connie, stay put and stay safe. BTW, how is your friend? I am still praying.

Crystal, I am so happy for you that your life is so full. Chris and those boys are going to make this holiday so wonderful this year.

I am so glad to finally see Dawn's socket is on the mend.

Sharon, my friend Vicki is still on a respirator and is not responding to voices. They have asked her friends to stop by hoping that some voice will get through to her. She is in an excellent hospital so there is still some hope, but I am really worried about her. Thanks for asking and praying! Connie

Indeed you've been busy. I've been busy with three doctor appointmens this week and from today to the 29th I'll be watching my aunt's cat and one of her two dogs while she's out of town for Christmas. On the Dec. 30th I'll see my doctor and try to get a surgery date for my Chiari Malformation Type 1 set and I'll tell my doctor to set my surgery after I have my vacation.

No ice by me too just rain too. Wow, you're really been busy like a busy bee. Where do you find the time to have to yourself? I thought I can be busy. May best to G..

Today is my 59th Birthday! My daughtervtook mevout to brunch, then I went to Costco to getvmy tires checked finally! Andcgot some thngs for my neice. And had dinner atvher house. 

Im going to try to leavecon Sunday to go home. my neicevisvhaving hervbaby named on Sunday andcI want to leave after that. 

I wont be backnup till March.

Im flying my husband up here Jan 30 th for a week.
